The Passenger side Strut is solid and will not close. So boot is open to the top. If i remove the passenger side Strut and disconnect it the Drivers side Strut will close allowing the boot to close fully manually. The Electrics will not open/close the boot if only one Drivers side strut is connected.

Where you open the tailgate, there is usually a soft rubber membrane that you press to unlock the tailgate.
Gearbox: when you press the brake pedal and turn the key, the ignition status is approved. BSi: when you press the brake pedal and turn the key, the status is where it says start request: NO (always this same value). Keys ok. If you put a direct plus on the starter, the car cranks and starts.

First post on forum so hi guys I bought a 2013 C4 grand Picasso 1 month ago and the other day this issue cropped up also. So out of the blue when closing the passenger door all the doors would lock, key in or out of ignition made no difference,
